If you’re firstly a good person with morals and a determination to make positive change, keep reading. We predominantly supply careworkers who are experienced as a health professionals such as nurses, trainee nurses or other allied health supports but that said some of our participants require fun support teams who possess a zest for life with a caring nature – its creating the right balance that is key. We pay high rates, supply training and create a supportive team environment for the right people. We value everyone on our team. Whether its self care as a support worker, someone keen to provide companionship, assist with community access, enjoy gardening or domestic duties or great at maintenance and odd jobs, In Care Central would love to hear from you!
Flexible hours and outside normal work hours available, enabling greater flexibility on mutual terms. We use shiftcare so you can organise your schedule and block unavailabilities from your smart phone.
For the right people – those who actually care – we pay well above award for employees and support sub contractors with the right attitude and credentials, upon submitting a pre populated invoice with item numbers, assist with training, orientation, insurances, refresher courses and obtaining qualifications to ensure you are up to date and confident in everything you do with the In Care Central team.

- To work in NDIS, all workers in Queensland are required to have an NDIS QLD Disability Worker screening check which combines a blue card, yellow card and police check and the ongoing monitoring of workers criminal history on a national level. The card is for a 5 year duration. If you already have a valid yellow card or yellow card exemption, you won’t need to get a disability worker screening check straight away. You can keep using your existing card until it expires, is suspended or is cancelled. Application and Payment can be made directly on the Queensland Govt website by clicking here or following this link: https://workerscreening.dsdsatsip.qld.gov.au/ In Care Central Pty Ltd NDIS Worker Screening Employer ID number is 4-H8H9NCN which you will need to complete an application online.
- To Get started as a contractor you need to be a Partnership, Company or Trust Structure if you want to meet your own Superannuation obligations, public liability, and indemnity insurance. You are responsible for your own tax obligations. For insurance there are specialised companies who insure NDIS workers. There’s a good website we found that makes it easier via this link: https://mycarespace.com.au/resources/find-insurance.
- You’ll need to complete an NDIS Worker Orientation Module online. It takes 1.5 hours – there are 4 parts – videos with multiple choice you can save and exit and come back to it. – here’s the link: https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/course/index.php?categoryid=
In addition to our signed company policy and contract agreements, In Care Central request your resume, drivers licence, a current First Aid certificate (valid for 2 years) and a current CPR certificate which must be renewed annually. These courses are available from a number of facilities in your local area. Please also supply any other registrations such as AHPRA.
